So i'm back home for thanksgiving break and whats the first thing i see when i go to my room?

STUFF HAS BEEN MOVED AROUND!

So my shit is still on my desk but a shitton of other stuff has been thrown on top of that... My poor Mokona plushie (I have the larger white plushie there). Things that do not belong to me have been thrown into my desk. AND i find that my little brother jacked my (though crappy) airsoft gun scope and laser and attached it to a toy gun. Those items were in my desk so that means HE WENT THROUGH MY SHIT! I'm fucking pissed at that cause i tell my family EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR. to NOT touch my stuff. Or to ask and inform me so that way if i need it i'm not tearing up the bloody house looking for it when i do come back.

UGH!

But i'm totally planning to jack one of the bottles of sake... cause we have three bottles now (last time i was here there was 1). And they're big bottles... like 1.5 liters i think...

So much school stuff to do this week... Comp graphics final project, P-chem lab 10page paper, p-chem problems, linear algebra take home exam...

...not much of a break...

oh well thats life...

time to get to sleep soon cause my mom is going to start nagging at me more...

SO i'm quite sure my eczema is breaking out like no tomorrow... And its over my whole body - arms, legs, back, chest, face and neck. I'm scratching every few minutes...and i' m scratching like crazy... some patches of skin are broken and now hurt from scratching too much... And it gets pretty bad at night with the scratching...

I need to go to health services to see if i can get referred to a dermatologist through the school because some of the stuff may be covered. But if worse comes to worse i'll be going back to my old dermatologist. I say this because i have no health insurance. Seeing the dermatologist is like $100. And the eczema cream is probably just as expensive.

So for now... i just have to deal with it... I can't see health services until monday. So the most i can do is put on moisturizer... WHICH i hate to do... I hate the feeling of lotion/moisturizer on my skin... It feels nasty...Before i found out i had eczema i would NEVER use lotion and whatnot on my skin when its dry or during the winter when everyone would be using lotion to keep their skin from cracking. I'm also using Dove soap like my dermatologist had suggested. So hopefully it'll irritate my skin less.

But we'll see what happens...

Quick post about the KMFDM concert thursday night. All i gotta say it I had a BLAST! I had alot of fun and thank goodness since it was a long and stressful week. But this was the first concert in a while i was quit excited and looking forward to and even better was that i enjoyed myself (i think the previous concert was Uh Huh Her last october). Kinda pissed that i COULD have easily snuck a camera in because they DID NOT PAT ME DOWN this time. WTF?!?! All the other times i've gone to the TLA they ALWAYS patted me down... so why not this time???? maybe it was the pants i was wearing... they were a bit tighter than usual...

I actually went by myself... but half the concerts i've gone to i've gone by myself. For the opening band i stood behind two rows of people who were behind the metal rail in the front right... Had issues seeing since I'm so bloody short. But when KMFDM went on i was in front of the speakers (my right ear was literally next to one of the speakers) at the right of the stage. I was right in front of one of the guitarist. And i missed the feeling of the speakers... when the bass just pounds you... such a wonderful feeling... But during a few of the songs it was a tad too strong because it actually felt like someone was pushing against my neck. But now i want to go clubbing LOL.

The opening band was Angelspit (interesting name ain't it? lol) from Australia. They were alright. I only heard a few songs in the past week when i found out they were the opening band. Liked a few songs but not a huge fan. I'm sure i'll be more interested when i hear more.

I never saw KMFDM in concert before so i wasn't sure what to be expecting. I've gone to industrial/industrial dance/EBM concerts before... but they were for a event at a club... It had a different feel to it. I was actually kinda expecting it to be like a metal concert... which it kinda was like.. but not quite.

Oh and then there was the female singer of KMFDM - Lucia. OMFG... SO FUCKING HOT! I had a "HOLY SHIT...DAMN..." moment when she walked onto the stage. This picture is from a different concert but she looked exactly like this for this concert -

She has a crazy voice. She can sing. She can scream. And both will sound in tune and not shriek-y. She has a badass, sneaky seductive sexiness and look to her. But she has that look that if you  saw her walking towards you in a dark alleyway you'd be kinda scared. and run the other way. But she ROCKED those silver PVC pants, that top, boots and hair like NOBODY'S BUSINESS. I can't think of anyone my age (younger or older) who can do the same... OH by the way SHE IS 39. (well so says wikipedia.. but all the other band members are ~40+ so it makes sense). But i'd let her do me any time XDDD hurhurhur 

Ok off to sleep... gotta wake up early cause my parents are picking me up to go to Chinatown for dimsum and Mid-Autumn Festival.

I'm going to see the band KMFDM (with Angelspit) on thursday and i'm quite excited. I'm not a OMG fan of KMFDM. I enjoy alot of their music but i'm not a hardcore hardcore fan. I guess its because they started as a band in 1984... which was years before i was born. This will also be the first time i see a industrial band in concert where the venue is not a club and the concert is not attached to some company/store/event (like Dracula's Ball - which is a event at a club with bands performing). I never heard of Angelspit until i saw they were performing with KMFDM. I listened to a few songs on their myspace and youtube and enjoyed them. Not sure what i'll be wearing... I'm not much into the goth/industrial/rave scene clothewise as in i don't own much clothes that would work, i love their designs and whatnot but i just don't have any of the clothing (oh and i don't have money for it too... goth/industrial/rave clothing can be expensive... and i'm not talking about the Hot Topic crap either... )

I may be go see Otep (with a bunch of random bands i don't care for...i just want to see Otep). It may not be worth it to go see it cuz i don't have a interest in the other bands... But a girl i know wants to get a interview with Otep and the other bands because she is one of the DJs for our school's radio. And i would like to take pics for her for the interview (and also during the concert). So if i can do that then i'll probably go. But we'll see... I still have to call her back... lol

And i need to repack half of my dorm stuff and move it out of my room since our rooms are all getting new carpets tomorrow. Then tomorrow night we have to move all our stuff back to our rooms and move some of the stuff in the living room out cause the rest of our apartment is getting new carpet tuesday... Oh and we all have to be out of the room by 8 am and we can't go back until after 4 pm.

I also re-bought a old lens my dad owned since it broke a few years ago. I found it on amazon for about $50 with shipping. BUT it is a different lens than the one in the picture. The one i wanted was a Monolta 35-70mm lens WITH the micro setting. The one i got was a Minolta 35-70mm lens WITH NO micro setting. And it looks to be a newer model lens.

Not sure why he bought it either...since we're both leaving to our respective collge in a few days... And our other two siblings are not the most competent...Which was one of the reason why i think our previous hamster passed away (RIP KOn... )

But the hamster is a russian dwarf (which i think is the same one as Kon). But apparently its not as hyper/paranoid/twichy/scared as Kon... we'll see how this goes.

I'll be going home this weekend so i'm quite excited.

I just finished packing up my dorm stuff so i can move in for the year... though i won't be moving in till the 30th i believe... but i won't be back home for the next two weeks.

So much moving crap around... mostly textbooks and notes. Yea i keep them as i have gone back to them a few times...though mostly my chem ones. The boxes that the stuff is in aren't big enough so i kept having to move stuff between boxes to get everything to fit without having to get another box. Then i decided to move some textbooks onto my desk since i didn't have a box to fit them in.

And i can't seem to find a box with has my chem notes from freshman year... Dunno where it could have disappeared to since the notes take up TWO 4IN binders. So its a rather big box. And i brought it to my dorm last year so it SHOULD have been with the rest of my crap. so hmm... I hope that my siblings didn't take them and throw all the notes away like they did last year with some other chem notes... OMFG i was SO FREAKIN PISSED esp since i was going to be using those notes again. My little brother said to my mom that i didn't need them (without asking me) when he asked her if he could take them. She automatically assumed thats what i said...OI!...

Packing my shit also made me realize how BADLY WE NEED TO CLEAN THIS HOUSE AND HOW MUCH JUNK WE HAVE HERE! Theres a pile of unclaimed clothes in front of my desk.. and on a couch in front of me and in the hallway upstairs. And my siblings keep saying they don't have enough socks/underwear/clothes... Oh and we all label our stuff (ie, J for my stuff so my sis won't get them)... except my parents never seem to look and we get each other's shit...

oh and lets not forget the random shit/toys/papers/clothing/LEGOS all over the freakin floor. Damn siblings don't clean up after themselves or put their shit away. omfg LEGOS... they hurt like a bitch when you step on them and I ALWAYS DO! "i forgot" is not a good excuse especially if its the ONLY excuse you give me every single time.We NEED to get rid of the old clothes in closets...most of them are horribly outdated and we have absolutley no use for them... unless my mom wants to save them for grandkids... def not my kids since i'm not having any HARHARHAR (my mom would murder me for that comment LOL)

edit: and i accidentally broke the tripod yesterday when i accidentally bumped and knocked it over. The piece that broke off was used to bring the head of the tripod up... even worse? THE PIECE WAS METAL... not the cheap crappy plastic piece... And we had this tripod for as long as i can remember... i wouldn't be surprised if that thing was as old as me...

OMFG the people next door have been BLASTING their music since 9 IN THE FREAKIN MORNING!!!!!!!!!! (which is how i woke up...not happy about that at all)It is freakin loud enough THAT I CAN HEAR THE LYRICS CLEARLY through the fucking wall.

I don't understand why it that necessary to blast the music that freakin loud... ESPECIALLY if you live in a apartment complex where you will be disturbing alot of people. AND people either blast it all day... and i mean ALL DAY... or randomly in the morning or at night till like 3 or 4 am.

It just seems like people here have NO common sense... or respect for anyone (and they are probably the type who would flip a shit if you disrespect them).

This is also true for people who blast their music in their cars... Trying to look cool? well guess what i think they are just pussies...and you're failing miserably... especially if you have a crappy car and then brand new shiny rims on the tires... SERIOUSLY?!?!?! AND PEOPLE ALSO DO THIS IN FRONT OF THE DORMS WHERE THE SOUNDS BOUNCES BETWEEN THE WALL AND YOU CAN HEAR IT IN YOUR ROOM... OMFG SO FUCKING DISRESPECTFUL... AND ANNOYING... Esp when you need to study...

AND ITS ALWAYS RAP AND HIPHOP... I'm sorry to people who listen to it but i HATE it... and think its shit... and you have the people who are blasting their music to blame.

Its JUST ANNOYING...

We have countered people's blasting of music by blasting our own music back at them (aka Epic Music - Lord of the Rings soundtrack, Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack etc etc) to try to get them to shut their music off... Kinda worked. But it gives us a headache too.. and it probably disturbs the rest of the neighbors.

I've been wanting to counter the car blasting music with either Rock, metal (death or black), happy happy jpop, techno... or anything that is not popular or rap. The gf wants to blast like celtic music. You never hear people blast any of those music out of cars (well every once in a while you run into one blasting rock but its soooo rare). Yea its camden... BUT if I drive out to Cherry Hill (where its "higher class"/"richer") - ITS STILL RAP.

SO FUCKING AGGRAVATING!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...ok end rant for now...

SO... i couldn't find the big tripod for the SLR camera for the longest time... and i know i brought it back home... so last night was was searching through the whole house...gave up for a while then looked again... Asked my parents and siblings to see if they saw it with no answer... Then eventually it dawned on my to search one of the closets... and it was there... it was there the whole bloody time... oi...

I also can't find a industrial spool of white thread... i have NO idea where it could be. I check the rooms where i could have used it to sew... not there. Check the dining room table since i think i sewed there once...not there. The thing is i usually have a big spool of white, navy and black thread in the suitcase which holds the sewing machine... and its not there. I checked before leaving the gf's apartment. I asked her to check earlier... and its not there....

....wait a sec... shit...

....i think i know where the thread is...

i think it may be in my laptop book bag... i had used the thread to sew up the muslin pattern to my jacket... and around that time i was still using the laptop bag....

argh!!!  *insert jamie smashing head into desk*

oh and i found two almost full industrial spool of gray thread in the house... Its a closer color to my vest than the one i'm using... and nice too... the one i'm using frays easily... and i messed up the spool by cutting some of the thread making it harder to sew...

ugh... time to get ready to leave the house... and back to camden...

So i got back from fabric shopping from fabric row in philly about a hour ago... Got hopefully everything that is needed.

One of my costumes will be Sebatian from Kuroshitsuji...One of the places had a nice suite fabric but it was too stretchy and light for my taste... even though it was a closer color and texture to the pants i will be wearing. But it was also about $15 per yard i think. So I will be sticking with teh black twill i already own...even though the texture and color doesn't fit with the pants fabric as the other fabric.

I also found this very nice soft gray fabric.. Drapped nicely kinda stretchy... BUT it was $60 per yard... holy shit... lol. No way i could afford that...

So after that store we went next door. There we were able to get all the fabric we needed as well as buttons. I love that place because they have a shit ton of buttons. They also have clips, D raings, zippers and random stuff like that.  At first i was like OMFG why can't i find a gray frabirc...then i swing my head around and found some LOL.

Count down to Otakon 9 days or so? Left to do? EVERYTHING... -_-''

So apparently I got a honorable mentions award for the hall cosplay judging at anime next for my Shippuden Sasuke costume

I didn't go to the masquerade... and i totally did not see the list of the hall cosplay winners thread on the cosplay.com forum... till like 15 minutes ago.

Double checked with youtube as someone recorded the announcement of the winners.

I wasn't expecting anything at all. I was just curious what the judges would say about my costume and for experience... like see what to expect if i were to ever do judging again. But its kinda cool.

I'm officially 21. I got carded last friday when my friends and i went out... well we all did. I think we all got carded since i was there... happened with another one of my friends when i sat with him a few months ago. I only drank a beer as i was still sick and taking meds at that point.

WORST time to get sick... I have my third exam for my summer class on wed then my final is on thursday... and all i want to do is SLEEP. I can't concentrate and my throat is bugging me. My body aches...esp my joints and skin.

But i enjoyed myself. Didn't take many pictures of cosplayers... which is surprising... There weren't many that i saw that i liked. But i got the ones i liked. Missed a few cosplayers i wanted pictures of as they always seem to be busy as i was free... and didn't see them again as i was wandering around. 

Suck that it bloody rained so freakin much...

So i had pulled a book off the a cart in the Ps-Z section that hold all the books people took off the shelves but aren't checking out/or just need to look through.

I scan the book as "mark item used". We do that to show that a book was just taken off the shelves and not check out to someone or missing. By doing this we some times find missing books that have been shelved wrong.

SO... this particular book was part of the weeding project (we're taking alot of books off the shelves and they're being shipped off somewhere as we don't need the those books anymore for whatever reason... most of them are rather old). It was from the section Z which is the last of the stacks and most of those books have been removed (they were just book about libraries, museums, books that list books). People rarely go into Z's....

I bring it to my supervisor and tell her its part of the weeding project. She opens it up and looks through it and we see a random small pile of paper... She takes it out and opens it and was like oh dear

So yea... my funny story for the day.

I went to see The Producers in Philly yesterday with one of my friends. I enjoyed it A LOT. It was really funny....and there were kids....We went to this bar called Moriarty's afterwards. Their buffalo wings are so good. My friends may bring me there to eat and drink a bit when i turn 21... which is in 2 weekends (the friday after anime next...PARTY TIME !! lol)

the new rope i bought for time jump sasuke didn't take the purple dye too well. Its kinda like blotchy... It does look uniform from afar but once you get close you see the rope isn't all purple. The other rope took the dye extremely well... I believe they're both the same material...the texture fells the same for both...So i don' t know whats up... Maybe different ingredients/contaminants in the ropes to make it is my guess....I'm tempted to throw it in the dye again... but i don' t know how long its going to take to dry... as it's being hung in the bathroom as there is not other area to hang it... I think i will have to blow dry it...

I'm not a fan of the new Anime Next venue. I google mapped all the places listed in the program guide from the convention center. Only 2-3 are in walking distance (not including the hotel restaurants or "food court" in the convention center). Everything else is like 2-3 mile drive..and they go through highways and big roads... So it wold not be a good idea to walk... imo... so yea...

now off i go to study... quiz wed...test thurs...

My hot glue gun just like blew up in my face!!!

I'm ok as i was lucky enough my face was not very low and that the sparks didn't jump very high...

but holy crap!

I saw the inside of the hot glue gun glow then pop then poof sparks and smoke

and now my rooms smells like something burned... kinda like a burning candle but more concentrated. The downstairs may smell like it a little...and i have a headache from the smell now....ugh...

So my plan to glue some stuff for my costume is now over... gotta wait till tomorrow...I either borrow my friend's hot glue gun or she is driving me to ac moore to pick one up before i go back to the apartment to drop off some of my stuff before we head off to philly to see the producers (the play).

Anime next is coming up fast... and i have a quiz and exam this week for class... then another exam and final exam the following week....

guess i should actually go study... lol

Ok i don't know where my TI-83 graphing calculator is... i lent it to one of my friends... who thought he returned it. So...yea dunno where it is...or who has it.  And i kinda need it... I have a regular basic calculator... but thats more complicated to use than the graphing calculator for basic calculations....especially problems that have pi and square roots and ones that have lots of variables... ugh... and i have a exam tomorrow.. fun fun fun

yes i can do the problems... but it'd be nice to have something to double check my answer that is easy to use...

and saw that krory was wearing the new uniform so i freaked since i love the 3rd version of the uniforms. And it looks NORMAL... not a fan of the cape thing he wore for the first two versions.

So today was the first day of my summer class - Calculus 3. I have a friend in there so i chatted with her before it started. She told me she went on ratemyteacher.com to see how the teacher was and he got extremely good reviews. Which is good. He was slightly late to class cause he taught at another place before here.

But the teacher is nice...and funny. He seems like a very cool guy. One rule that he has is if your cell rings he gets to pick it up and answer it. If his cell rings we get to do the same. And yes his cell has rung in class before. He also told a few funny stories. Even though he is nice he is still also strict.

He kinda reminds me of a military guy...maybe its the way he talks. I dunno.. not sure.

We have a test on monday. We will be having our exams on mondays. SO that means the 3rd exam will be the monday after anime next is over. So don't be surprised to see me sitting by myself studying at the con.

Work was the usual. I walked in and see that we have a huge ass LCD screen by the circulation desk... I had a wtf?!?! face the whole way i walked in...

We are taking books off the shelves in some areas - Q's atm. Q's are science books. I removed a bunch today and was highly amused as they were the chem books. We will also be moving the H's to somewhere else so we can expand the computer lab area. The P's will be getting compact shelvings. Which are the shelves that you have the crank to move. Google "compact shelving" if to see pics. Dunno how long this will take... But we'll see if it gets done by the end of the summer.

But i'm going to go studying and do some homework before i go to sleep. So off i go.

Mass downloading spree as my internet in my dorm was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! Half of my statues on facebook have been of me complaining and cursing at the internet.... lol

So i'm downloading - terminator - the sarah connor chronicles (season 1 finish earlier). Been meaning to check it out. due to many posts about it on afterellen.com. And since i never have time to watch tv/don't watch tv... that means i use the internet. But i like lena headey. And Shirley Manson from the Garbage is in the series now too (2nd season). I am a huge fan of Garbage's music. And i think Shirley Manson is smart, beautiful and talented.

Painkiller Jane - I want to check this out since Kristianna Loken is supposed to be at Wizard World Philadelphia in June (the weekend after anime next and i also turn 21 that friday XDDD). Oh and she was also in the L word.. lol... so it's be cool to meet her.

Xena - yes... xena... i watched it growing up so i'm planning to rewatch all of again. I'm still downloading season 1... and i have a long way to go...

still need to download - Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Chuck, Battlestar Galactica, Mythbusters, True Blood...and many many more series i want to check out but never got the chance to... or series that i could never remember the name of after see a ad for it... lol

oh i had my hair in a mohawk right before i moved out of my dorm. So i went to dinner with my family and aunt and uncle. They WOULD NOT have been amused by the mohawk so i had to wash it out... made me sad... but i won't be mohawking it again till probably next semester...

But i'm off to sleep as i'm tired...Hot weather..especially mixed with humidity makes me sleeeeepy.

Not feeling too well... Mixture of stress, finals, studying, studying and more studying, being kinda depressed, anger/being pissy, worrying, not getting enough sleep, consuming lots of caffeine, not drinking enough water, not eating correctly, packing and moving out, cleaning the apartment, weather = Jamie does not feel well...

And i've had a bloody nose everyday for the past three days or so. I had two...or three today... so i look like i'm stoned...My movement is slightly zombie-like without the wanting to consume brains and raised arms.  But my brain is just dead now... Bloody nose probably due to caffeine and lack of water and running around and probably slightly overheating (this happens to one of my roomies...it gets too hot and she gets bloody noses) and not drinking water. Oh we ran out of the water for the water dispenser earlier this week/last weekend....

Moved some of my stuff out earlier... Wasn't enough room to move everything out so my mom is coming in the morning after she drops off my brother at school to pick the rest of the stuff up and me as well. She was like omg when she saw my mohawk...yes its back up in a mohawk.

Want to see Fake? (the japanese band... main singer used to be the main singer of Oblivion Dust) at anime next. Dunno if i will going friday (when they are performing)... still going sat at least. I want to take concert photos... Dunno if they will allow cameras.... I know for Despairs Ray a few years back they were pretty strict with that and having bags... Guess i'll find out when it gets closer.

May go to sleep soon. As i'm tired and feeling rather crappy. Going to wait till my roomie gets back from the party she is at.
